I plan on posting a number of playlists in the coming months that will all be related to the different needs of resisting the corrupt, misogynist, racist, incompetent, and cruel administration of Trump and his lackeys. These playlists will, hopefully, provide some beauty, fun, energy, righteous anger, and musical solidarity to your struggle for peace and justice under a regime of hatred and injustice.
I’m going to start, on this inauspicious inauguration day, with a group of songs that are meant as refuge from the fray. Songs that transport and that soothe, that bathe you in beauty and let you take a deep breath and find some inner balance and peace.

(I apologize for the commercial interruptions to the flow of music, but Spotify is probably the best way to create playlists that anyone can listen to here on the site. And at least the artists are receiving some money for each play, even if it’s not much or an ideal solution.)
